- Judith Atkins is a Masters Prepared Nurse with over 20 years experience in health care. Like you, Judi has had many challenges and frustrations in her career. One of the biggest has been Joint Commission compliance. Judi in her own role of Assistant Administrator and Vice President for Clinical Services in Acute Care always inherited the role of Joint Commission Coordinator. She vowed that she would study the habits of Joint Commission Surveyors and develop a system to anticipate the appropriate readiness strategies. McKenna Consulting was founded in 1989 to share these effective strategies with hospitals across the nation. Judi's ability to present material in a humorous, dynamic fashion has been a big part of her success as a national speaker and consultant.
